Jamcracker Platform

The core of the Jamcracker Services Delivery Network (JSDN) is a multi-tiered, multi-tenant cloud delivery and management platform that supports self-service cloud fulfillment, delegated administration, and channel enablement. This is applicable to both internal cloud services brokerages—for example, IT organizations aggregating public and private clouds for internal users—and external CSBs, including service providers, distributors, and any other type of customer-facing marketplace.

Jamcracker’s platform architecture simplifies and automates the aggregation of diverse cloud services by unifying catalog management, order management, security and policy management, user and service administration, billing and settlement, usage reporting and auditing, and license management workflows across internally and externally hosted cloud services.

Services can include software-as-a-service (SaaS), platform-as-a-service (PaaS), infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS), and any other cloud-based or virtualized application. This provides the flexibility to create a variety of offerings to meet the highly variable needs of your employees and customers, while increasing the productivity of your IT and back-office operations.

The Jamcracker Platform for Service Providers and Enterprise IT

The Jamcracker Platform enables the aggregation and delivery of services such as SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, and internal application services for service providers, distributors, enterprise and government IT and other types of organizations.

For service providers, the Jamcracker Platform enables the distribution of services to customer organizations such as SMBs and enterprises, as well as through their resellers.

For enterprise and government IT, the Jamcracker Platform enables centralized visibility and control with respect to the complete lifecycle of the service within their organizations. This includes catalog-based ordering, provisioning, usage, and subscription management of services across the organization. These lifecycle management functions may be controlled based on organizational grouping, e.g., line-of-business and department, or by functional roles.

The Jamcracker Platform provides rich administrative features for both service providers and enterprises, including a single point of provisioning, single sign-on, and settlement for a wide array of heterogeneous services. Functional components of the Jamcracker Platform include catalog management, self-service enablement, service and user provisioning, user and subscription management, help desk services, billing, and settlement.
