JSDN offers content providers an indirect channel to sell their solutions more cost effectively than using a direct sales force. Content providers sign a Master Distribution Agreement (MDA) that enables Jamcracker to recruit resellers on their behalf, who then sell to end users. Jamcracker then takes care of all of the overhead of partner enablement and management, allowing vendors to scale their business to large numbers of partners cost effectively. In addition, because these resellers can sell multiple services to customers with whom they have an existing relationship, customer acquisition costs are much lower and the overall cost of sales of services can decrease dramatically.
JSDN allows resellers to bundle and re-brand dozens of “best-of-breed” On Demand services on an integrated platform, automating all aspects from back-end administration through billing, support, access and provisioning -- all provided on an On-Demand basis. This hosted, outsourced solution enables service providers to significantly streamline their costs, quickly increase their revenues and, by offering multiple services, reduce client churn. In addition, larger resellers can also become distributors, recruiting their own resellers to sell services in a multi-tier channel.
Smaller Value Added Resellers (VARs) can participate in JSDN’s Instant Store program. This “turnkey” solution allows VARs to create an eCommerce storefront and begin reselling On-Demand products and services available through JSDN’s software, services and content vendors. With a few clicks of the mouse and only one contract to sign, service providers can offer their customers multiple On-Demand services, web-based catalog, customer order management, and automated service provisioning. This automation is totally transparent to end customers, who get the use of a single-sign-on portal for accessing the services, requesting support and managing invoices and billing.
