Cloud services brokerage provider builds on its success with multi-tiered distribution of Microsoft Online Services by offering Office 365 along with dozens of other 3rd party cloud providers.
SANTA CLARA, Calif., June 28, 2011 – Jamcracker, the leading cloud services brokerage enablement company, today released its distribution-ready integration for Microsoft Office 365, the successor to Microsoft BPOS (Business Productivity Online Suite). Jamcracker has been enabling service providers to syndicate, sell and distribute Microsoft Online Services since BPOS was first launched in 2009. Jamcracker cloud services brokerage (CSB) partners who syndicate Office 365 can also select from hundreds of other pre-integrated cloud services partners that they can bundle and distribute from their own private-branded marketplaces to their customers, through their channels, or to their employees.
According to the “Cool Vendors in Cloud Services Brokerage, 2011” report by Gartner, Inc. written by Benoit Lheureux and Daryl Plummer, “Brokering a full cloud ecosystem with marketplaces and catalogs for sets of cloud services is a critical necessity for cloud growth and the generation of long-term revenue. Doing this while also enabling a platform for service enablement, integration and unification of services from enterprises, partners and cloud providers increases the value proposition.”
Jamcracker provides a multi-tiered and multi-tenant cloud delivery and life-cycle management platform that is used by hundreds of service providers, IT providers and enterprise IT organizations around the world to aggregate, deliver and manage internal and external cloud-based infrastructure, development and application services. Pre-integrated, distribution-ready services such as Microsoft Online Services, and now Office 365, are available through the Jamcracker Services Delivery Network (JSDN) for Microsoft syndication partners along with an extensive catalog of other cloud offerings. This allows Jamcracker-enabled CSB partners the ability to deliver best-of-breed cloud services via their own private-branded marketplaces and through their existing channel partners.
“Service providers need to offer their customers choice when it comes to fulfilling their cloud services needs, and the addition of Microsoft Office 365 to our CSB enablement platform provides additional and powerful offerings that we expect will accelerate SMB cloud adoption and help fuel the next wave of public cloud adoption by large enterprises,” said Steve Crawford, vice president of marketing and business development at Jamcracker. “We’re pleased to add Office 365 to our cloud services ecosystem, and we are especially proud that the first communications service provider to go live as an Office 365 syndication partner is distributing it via the JSDN.”
